Japanese cuisine is expanding more and more into the western world. Not only are the individual dishes enjoying increasing popularity, but also the methods of cooking.

Nothing tastes quite like charcoal grilled chicken skewers. Now you can make delicious yakitori and other grilled dishes anytime, with this convenient Japanese style charcoal grill.
Japanese charcoal (Binchotan) tends to burn cleaner and hotter than the usual briquettes and can be used right by the table, so no one misses the party or picnic tending to the grill. Makes food taste great!

This hands on master class has been designed to unlock the secrets of cooking on coals in a fun and innovative way. With a maximum of 6 people on a class you will have the opportunity for some serious one on one time with Chris and his expertise. In this master class each person will be cooking on a grill, rather than just watching so you will put the theory immediately into practice and get a real feel of how easy and versatility it is to cook on our British Made Kasai Konro Grills.

Of course our Development Chef Chris will be on standby with his knowledge and expertise along with a fire extinguisher for any mishaps. On the day, Chris will start by teaching you how to light the Kasai Grill and the difference in charcoals and how this can affect the cooking of your chosen ingredients. He will then show you the best way to cook different meats, vegetables and sides on the grill, which you can try.

You will then enjoy preparing and cooking a tasty lunch of BBQ skewers and a flat bread made on the Kasai Grill.Whether you have one of our grills and are keen to master it or are thinking a Konro grill might be a good addition to your outside kitchen, or just love trying new techniques and eating tasty food there is something for everyone on this full day course.
